Ironman Switzerland 2017

“I’m did Ironman Switzerland 70.30 in June 2017 to raise money for Dementia support – The Mase Group.

Over the last 11 years my very close family has been heavily effected by dementia. It really can happen to any of us!

7 hours of pain is nothing compared to what these poor carers and sufferers have to go through every day forever!

850,000 people have dementia in the UK.

There has been a 56% rise in the number of people diagnosed with dementia from 2010/11 to 2015/16.

Globally, the numbers of people living with dementia will increase from 46.8m in 2015 to 131.5m in 2050, a 281% increase.

The diagnosis rate in England was 67% in February 2017.
